perfect spot for a stroll with easy access to attractions
The hotel is just a few steps away from the Orkney Museum and a lovely park at Peedie Sea, making it an ideal base for wandering the city and soaking in the sights. The great cooked breakfast made my mornings even better. As a solo traveler, I appreciated how clean and well-serviced my room was during my stay, and the owner's attentiveness really stood out as welcoming.

Perfect place for a weekend in Kirkwall
Super close to the town center, making it easy to explore! The breakfast spread was awesome with a mix of Scottish and continental options. My room was comfy, but the mattress could use some love, and the hot tap was tricky. Loved the little bar area with good drinks!

Charming Stay with Historical Touch
I recently enjoyed a delightful stay, appreciating the unique historical charm of the building and the comfort of my room. The breakfast was personalized and delicious, with options pre-ordered the night before, adding to the convenience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making sure all my needs were met during my time there. the furniture felt a bit dated and could use some upgrades to enhance the overall experience.

Staying here with friends was a blast! We enjoyed exploring the beautiful rolling fields and visiting the local distillery. The location was perfect, and the breakfast offered was freshly cooked! The rooms were cozy, though small, and we appreciated the friendly staff who made check-in smooth.
The furniture felt old and could really use an upgrade. I also noticed that heating in our bedroom was insufficient at times, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The location is superb. My room was clean and well stocked, making me feel at ease. I appreciated the complimentary shortbread cookies. I found the mattress uncomfortable, lacking a mattress topper for added comfort. The lighting in the bedroom was quite dim, making it difficult to read. Breakfast had limited options, focusing mainly on cereals and toast, which felt basic compared to what I expected. For a morning meal, variety could improve the experience. this place provides a good base for exploring the area, though a few enhancements could elevate the stay.
